DIRECTIONS AND PARKING
We will be using the back entrance at Lake Park - 17123 Whirley Road, Lutz, 33558. From Dale Mabry Hwy, head West on Van Dyke Road for approximately 1 mile and turn left onto Whirley Road. From Suncoast Parkway, head East on Van Dyke Road for approximately 2 miles and turn right onto Whirley Road. The park entrance is approximately 1/2 mile down on the left. Drive into the park until you see a large open field and pavilion on the left. You will be directed on exactly where to park.
Parking fee is included in your registration fee so do not stop at the pay station.
Registration is from 7:00 AM – 7:30 AM. You will receive your T-shirt at registration. The 5K run starts at 8:00 AM.
You will run on the nature trails at Lake Park. The run is officially timed and we approximate the distance at 3.1 miles based on terrain and accessibility. Use caution while running, as the trails are located in natural habitat for wildlife.
For everyone's safety, strollers are not allowed.
PHOTOS and RACE RESULTS
Race results and photos will be available online at Floridaraceday.com shortly after the race ends.
FOOD, FUN & MUSIC
At the end of the race, come celebrate with us! We will have a DJ, food and drinks for your enjoyment! Remember, this is a Fairy Tale 5K Dash so we encourage you to come dressed up as your favorite character!

The Open Arms Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, the corporate charity of MAA, and the heart of our company. Its mission is to provide a home away from home at no cost for individuals and/or families who must travel to receive medical treatment. Open Arms homes are fully-furnished, two-bedroom, first-floor apartment homes stocked with linens, kitchen items and other miscellaneous necessities. The entire rent, along with basic utilities, are paid for by MAA and the Open Arms Foundation.
